Konami's line-up at TGS 2017 is a little bit bigger than last year. There's not only PES (or Winning Eleven) and Metal Gear Survive, they also have the new VR-enabled version of Zone of the Enders and Super Bomberman R, the Switch launch title, among a few other titles more focused on the Japanese market.

As TGS kicked off Konami introduced a new free update full of content for Super Bomberman R. There would be three new characters, each one with its own special move. They are Anubis Jehuty, from Zone of Enders, and Reiko Hinomoto from Rumble Roses (do you remember the old all female wrestling game?).

Multiplayer fans have another reason to play Super Bomberman R in the future. A new mode called Super Grand Prix will bring 3 versus 3 team battles into the game. The objective is for both teams to collect crystals all over the stage. There's currently no word on when the Grand Prix mode will launch, but hopefully it won't be too long.

Are you still playing Bomberman on the Switch?
