This is why Wario and Waluigi don't have girlfriends

If you know anything about Mario, you'll know that he has a love interest by the name of Princess Peach, and even Luigi has Daisy, but what about Wario and Waluigi? Well, it turns out there's a reason they don't have partners.

Twitter account MarioBrothBlog shared an excerpt from a Nintendo Power interview with Hiroyuki Takahashi and Syugo Takahashi of Camelot, and the former said that Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto is the reason for the pair's poor love lives.

"We asked Nintendo about girlfriends for Wario and Waluigi too," he explained when talking about a partner for Luigi, "but Mr. Miyamoto said that he didn't even want to see their girlfriends (laughs)."
