Yakuza Kiwami 2 officially announced

Will include new scenarios and let us play as Goro.

The Taiwanese PlayStation Store made the mistake of listing something called Yakuza Kiwami 2 a few days ago, so the official announcement didn't exactly come as a surprise but at least we got more details.

On top of the improvements and changes we mentioned yesterday, the announcement also made it clear that the game will include new scenarios and even let us play as Goro Majima. Those of you who love the music in Yakuza 2 might also want to know that SiM has written a whole new theme song for the game.

We've also received two trailers from the game. The first one is pretty much just a regular announcement trailer, while the second one goes deeper into the story and characters.

How do you feel about Sega seemingly focusing more and more on remakes these days?
