Hunt: Showdown won't come to consoles at first

Crytek has been on quite the rollercoaster ride with Hunt: Showdown. The game started out in life as Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age, to then vanish for years, and then it resurfaced at E3 and impressed pretty much everyone that has looked at it ever since. Now, Crytek is in a pretty good position, but if you're a console owner and looking forward to the release, hold that thought, because it may not release on console at all, or at least not at first.

In a new interview Lead Designer Dennis Schwarz confirmed that they are bringing the game to PC "first", and he had no further announcements to say regarding potential console versions in the future.

Now, Crytek has stated before that the game was coming to PC, and has neglected to mention other platforms, but this is the first statement directly confirming that it's PC only come launch.
