Hearthstone: Knights of the Frozen Throne launches this week

135 new cards are being added to the game.

Last month Blizzard revealed Hearthstone: Knight of the Frozen Throne, the new add-on for their collectible card game (CCG), and now they have also revealed the release date for the expansion pack. This was announced on the official Hearthstone Twitter account, saying that Knights of the Frozen Throne will be available this Thursday, August 10, and will add 135 new cards in total.

The expansion will add a couple of new features to the card game on top of this, including free single-player missions which will earn you free packs from the new set, and a new mechanic called Hero Cards as well. These legendary cards will transform the Hero Powers of the player's characters into Death Knight versions.
