Conan Exiles' new update expands its world by 70 percent

With the upcoming launch of the Xbox One version of Conan Exiles the action game enters the second phase of its early access plan. To celebrate this and to present players fresh content developer Funcom will release the free The Frozen North expansion on August 16th, alongside the Xbox One version.

The highlight of the new expansion is the snowy northern region of Conan Exiles that is said to expand the size of the world map by 70%. In this frosty new area new gameplay mechanics like catching fish, beekeeping and even brew beer are added to, presumably help us get along during cold nights... Those of you who stand against the dangers of that new climate eventually learn the ability to summon the avatar of the Storm and Warlord Ymir himself in crucial battles.

Conan Exiles plans to releaes fully in Q1 2018 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Whether the climate will effect the stature of one of Conan Exiles' more talked about features remains to be seen (or not) as may be the case...
