In an interview with PCGamesN, developer Sumo Digital claims that the story for Crackdown 3 can be beaten in two-and-a-half hours.

Not that it should. A typical playthrough is apparently between 12-16 hours, but if you're going for a speedrun and are well versed with the game, it's possible to beat the final boss incredibly quickly - perhaps even quicker, as this is just the fastest time recorded by the QA testers.

You're able to take your high level character from a previous playthrough forward to your next run too, although the benefits of re-playing with a high level character aren't currently known.

Sumo Digital did note that they're still balancing the game at this point, so it could change before release. Crackdown 3 releases on November 3 as an Xbox One X launch title, along with the PC version. What do you hope Sumo Digital brings to the multiplayer modes in Crackdown 3?
