Crackdown 3 release date confirmed

Starring Terry Crews as Commander Jaxon.

Crackdown 3 has been in development for years, and after the relative disappointment of Crackdown 2, Sumo Digital (who now could well be the game's sole developer, with Reagent seemingly removed from development duties) have looked to add some character to the third game in the series by bringing in popular actor Terry Crews to voice Commander Jaxon.

Whether he's the main protagonist is unconfirmed, but no doubt he'll bring a lot of charisma and character to the title. The release date is confirmed to be November 7, so it will be an Xbox One X launch title and will be available as a "play anywhere" game so one copy will extend over Xbox and Windows 10 PC.
