Need for Speed Payback gets E3 gameplay trailer

Need for Speed Payback was one the games shown off during EA Play. It centres around a revenge mission to take down The House, a criminal organisation. It's going to involve "gruelling car battles" and the focus is on delivering an "action-driving fantasy".

According to EA, it's "no longer about being first", with a trio of characters - Tyler, Jess, and Mac - driving through cities, canyons, and deserts, in what they're calling the most diverse open world in the series so far.

For petrolheads, customisation is going to be "way deeper", and there are also relics, abandoned classic cars that you transform from scrap to stock to pristine condition.
