Horizon: Zero Dawn went down a treat when it was released on PlayStation 4 last month (have you read our review?), and in an interview with GameInformer (via WCCFTech), Guerrilla Games talked about the future of the game, with narrative director John Gonzalez saying that a sequel would have to honour the players if it ever happened.

"We've been absolutely humbled by the players' response to the story and their emotional connection to Aloy. Should a sequel happen, our number one goal would be to respect that connection by doing our utmost to create a story that resonates just as deeply," he said. "We feel duty-bound to honour the time that players have invested into Horizon: Zero Dawn. The last thing we want to do is disappoint the folks who have given the game such a passionate support."

Do you think a sequel would be good, or would you rather see this game left untouched as a standalone experience?
