Hearthstone's Journey to Un'Goro expansion launches soon

Expansion adds 135 prehistoric cards and marks the start of a new year.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft's next expansion, Journey to Un'Goro, was announced just over a month ago. During a livestream Blizzard has revealed almost all 135 new cards from the fifth full-size expansion and its launch date: April 6.

Journey to Un'Goro also brings a few new mechanics to the card game. The most noteworthy is the new Quest card type. These cards will offer players big rewards during the game after hitting certain challenging goals. For example, the mage quest Open the Waygate asks you to cast six spells that didn't start in your deck and will reward the card Time Warp, which let's you take an extra turn.

The expansion will also mark the beginning of the next Standard rotation, the "Year of the Mammoth" in Hearthstone. Cards from Blackrock Mountain, The Grand Tournament and League of Explorers will be rotated out of Standard mode.
