Kingdom Hearts celebrates its 15th anniversary in Japan

While we can't wait for new intel on the long overdue Kingdom Hearts III, and we have been promised news this year by Tetsuya Nomura, celebrations for the fifteenth anniversary of the series have started.

The very first Kingdom Hearts was released on PlayStation 2 on March 28, 2002 in Japan (in Europe we had to wait until November 15, 2002), and for the occasion, game director Tetsuya Nomura has posted a special illustration dedicated to protagonist Sora on Twitter.

But even if there's no news on Kingdom Hearts III there's still much do as Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix - a special collection for PlayStation 4, which includes: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re: coded - is expected this Friday, March 31.
