Survival RPG Rend unveiled by Frostkeep Studios

Frostkeep Studios, a team made up of three ex-World of Warcraft developers, has announced a new game called Rend, one which sees you take on other factions in a fantasy world while trying to survive.

The Steam page describes it as follows: "Choose your side in this faction-based survival game, pitting groups of players against each other amid hordes of horrific demons in an ongoing epic war. Explore a mysterious and unforgiving world as you race against the clock to achieve victory before you are wiped from existence."

There'll be three factions to choose from in the game, and you'll be tasked with building a stronghold to protect your resources, taking advantage of deep character customisation and upgrades to make sure you're the strongest you can be. As with many survival games, there's also plenty in the way of technology, crafting, and exploration.
