Costume Quest animated cartoon coming in 2018

We already knew that Frederator Studios (producers of shows like Adventure Time and The Fairly OddParents) is working on a Castlevania series for Netflix, but that's not the only video game franchise they have up their sleeve.

Last year they announced that they were working on a animated cartoon based on the Costume Quest universe, and now we've learned that they've teamed up with Amazon Studios to publish it on their streaming service some time next year. We don't know much else aside from that, except that Will McRobb (co-creator of The Adventures of Pete & Pete and the screenplay of Alvin and the Chipmunks) will be the show-runner. Hopefully this means that the show will embrace the games' charm and humour.
