Players around the world have been waiting for the option to transfer their Pokémon from previously released Pokémon games to Sun and Moon for quite some time. Well, today we got the good news.

The Pokémon Bank update is now available, with an extra treat for subscribers: all Bank subscribers will now have a special Wonder Card waiting for them when launch Sun or Moon. Take this to the Mystery Gift, and you'll find yourself with a Z-Crystal called Mewnium Z. If the name wasn't a clear give-way, it can only be used by (drum roll, please) Mew in battle, and you can see it in action here.

If you didn't know: Pokémon Bank lets you transfer Pokémon you've caught in Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby, X, Y, and the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow into Sun and Moon. You can see how it works in the image below.

Is this a key feature you've been waiting for, or just an added bonus to bolster your Sun and Moon experience?

REVIEW. Written by Juan A. Fonseca

"Be it the story, visual style, setting, creatures, combat, or even the fan service, this game delves deeper into the RPG genre and it's better for the shift."
