Rayman Legends, the game once destined to remain on Wii U exclusively only to arrive on pretty much every competing platform, is now coming to Nintendo Switch. Dubbed as the "Definitive Edition," Ubisoft has stated it will offer the best version of the title yet including new exclusive content.
In a video, Michel Ancel emphasises the importance of local multiplayer in the game and how he thinks that the Switch and Rayman is a match made in heaven. While the exact content and enhancements available in the "definitive" version weren't detailed, returning features such as Kung Foot were promised to get extensive use out of the console's capabilities and Joy-Con controllers.
Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is coming this year and is one of three Ubisoft games announced for the Nintendo Switch during the presentation (Just Dance and Steep are the other two), but the publisher has more games in development for the platform.
