Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide getting big new update

Update 1.5 has almost arrived for Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, and in the extensive patch notes Fatshark details what exactly will feature in the update, and fans, be prepared: "This patch is a big one."

There are far too many to list the whole update notes here, but there are optimisations, as with most updates, as well as weapon balances, a new map, fixes, tweaks, and more. Not only that, but the centrepiece of the new update is the Karak Azgaraz DLC, which will cost £5.99.

In Karak Azgaraz "the Skaven have invaded the Dwarfen fortress of Karak Azgaraz! Fight your way through three striking levels in this DLC for Vermintide, set among the snow covered peaks of the Grey Mountains. Battle the Skaven in the ancient halls of the Dwarfen Khazid Kro, made of cold stone and old technology. Explore the mountains in search of The Cursed Rune. Finally, make your way to the top of the mountain to light the first beacon and trigger the Chain of Fire," as reads the description on the Steam page.

Two new rare weapons are included in the DLC as well, including a Warpick for the Dwarf Ranger and the Falchion for the Witch Hunter.
