Rumour: Mario Kart 8 on Switch to have exclusive content

When the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer dropped and shocked the world, we also caught a glimpse of something that looked like Mario Kart 8, but with some subtle differences, and it seems like insider Emily Rogers may be able to shed some light on this for us.

Rogers recently learned that the Switch version of Mario Kart 8 will feature tons of exclusive content, including brand new tracks, new playable characters, and a new-and-improved battle mode. Sounds interesting? It gets better. The game has apparently finished development and is planned to be released within the first three months of Switch's launch.
