Leviathans, the first story pack for Paradox's Stellaris, has arrived alongside a major free update for the game, giving more content centred around exploration.
Leviathans lets players encounter new species and pirates as well as giving new events and options. Guardians are also included in the story pack, huge and mysterious space entities which you can either choose to fight or investigate to gain new technologies and treasures.
Enclaves make their way into the mix as well, offering outposts of traders, not to mention a War in Heaven where two ancient empires start fighting each other, forcing the player to choose sides.
The Heinlein update also comes to the base game with this story pack, addressing issues like Expansion Planner interface, overhauling strategic resources, and much more.
Leviathans can be bought either through the Paradox website or through Steam. Is this story pack adding something new to Stellaris? Do you welcome what it brings?
