Hide and Shriek gets release date and a new gameplay trailer

Norwegian veterans Funcom announced today that Hide and Shriek - their new horror game - will be launched on Steam on October 25th, and the game is available for pre-purchase through Steam now. To celebrate this announcement the developer also released the first gameplay video showing two players scaring each other half to death, and you can see the chilling trailer below:

Hide and Shriek will be available on October 25th on Steam, and will be fully localised to German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese languages. Sounds like most of the world will get the privilege of being scared in their own language. Hurrah!
