Lone Echo is the first VR game from Ready at Dawn, the studio behind The Order: 1886 and the God of War titles for PSP, and it is being developed exclusively for Oculus and its Oculus Touch controller, as many other titles we get to know last night at Oculus Connect 3, including 4A Games' Arktika.1.

With a setting similar to the film Gravity, the player flies to a space station within a sentient robot to complete routine work. It floats outside the construction, jumping from grip to grip or propelled by the jets on its wrists, while talking to a human woman worried about what is happening out on the deep space.

The announcement gameplay trailer of Lone Echo let us see something unusual in VR games: the arms of the robot seem tied to the body, even though the first person point of view doesn't let us see where they really are. The team wants to demonstrate how sensitive and responsive Oculus Touch is.

Ready at Dawn is also working on the colourful third person arena game Deformers. The game was revealed at the beginning of the year, but has not been heard of since.
