Duke Nukem Forever lives?

Duke Nukem Forever, the game that refuses to die no matter what. It also refuses to be released, but that's another story. In a new rumor surrounding the legendary game, sources tell Kotaku that the game is still under development and that Gearbox (Borderlands, Brothers in Arms) is now working to finish what 3D Realms started.

According to one of Kotaku's sources a playable demo of the title should be available later this year, while Gearbox president Randy Pitchford didn't want to comment the rumor at all. There were indications that we might get some form of clarification on all of this at the Penny Arcade Expo which kicks of on September 3 in Seattle.
