Obsidian Entertainment has released the first of a three part dev diary series in which they discuss their upcoming RPG, Tyranny, and the first of these talks about "Creating a World".

The video gives more information about the fantasy world that is being threatened by Kyros the Overlord, but one of the most notable facts to come out of it is that more than 600,000 words have gone into it.

"We have to always be anticipating what the player is going to be doing. A lot of our conversations have to be written multiple different ways", Lead Producer Matthew Singh explained. Since these 600,000 words can not all be experienced at once, the developers also hope that this will be an incentive to replay the game.

Kyros the Overlord was also revealed to be a woman by Lead Level Designer Constant Gaw.
