It looks like Introversion's Prison Architect will be getting a massive patch update revamping UI and mods, as well as adding a whole load of other stuff with version 2.0. Detailed in a lengthy video recently released on their YouTube channel the developer also suggested that they'll be moving on to pastures new and working on some other titles they have been considering.

Version 2.0 is not up and running yet, but there is instructions on how to opt in to the Steam beta in the video. Introversion has recently asked the public to vote on what games they would like to see next as well as teased some of the projects they have been prototyping.

Could their next game possibly be one of the demos they showcased recently on another video on their channel? One was what appeared to be a cave explorer called Scanner Sombre and the other was a bomb defusal game called Wrong Wire, chances are one of these two games is their next project.

Check out the video slash podcast for yourselves over on the YouTube.

Prison Architect

REVIEW. Written by James Daniels

"Overall Prison Architect is a very good game, and it brings new ideas and a new setting to a tired genre."
