Minecraft: Story Mode episode 7 arrives on July 26th

Few developers have been able to match Telltale Games when it comes to efficiency over the last few years, and today the studio has announced the release date for the next episode of their Minecraft: Story Mode series. The 7th episode is called "Access Denied" and will launch starting July 26th. That'll make it 7 episodes in the span of just 9 months.

"In Episode 7: 'Access Denied', continuing their portal journey in search of home, Jesse and crew land in a world entirely controlled by PAMA - a sinister "thinking machine" determined to command everyone and everything in pursuit of optimal usefulness and efficiency", the developers write in the press release. "Forced on the run to avoid capture and assimilation, you'll need to work with a new ally to defeat the corrupted computer and free the population it has enslaved."

You can buy the episode individually for $4.99 USD or equivalent, or together with episodes 6 and 8 in the Adventure Pass for $14.99 USD or equivalent. In any case the episode requires that you own at least Episode 1 in the series, or the season pass disc.
