There may still be hope for Fable Legends
Could development continue in spite of Lionhead's closure.

It seems like all hope isn't lost for Fable Legends, despite its cancellation last month. MCV reports that employees are being surveyed if they would like to continue the development of the game as an independent studio. Microsoft won't confirm this, but at the other hand, they don't deny it either and says:
"We aren't sharing additional details beyond that we have ceased development on Fable Legends, and are in discussions with employees at Lionhead about our proposed closure of the studio as well."
