Indie publisher Raw Fury Games have announced their third game (following last year's Kingdom and the soon to be released Kathy Rain) and it's a game called Gonner (it's spelled GoNNER officially, but yeah, we're not doing that) from Swedish indie outfit Art in Heart. It features a very distinct artstyle that you might recognise from developer Mattias "Ditto" Dittrich's previous work (Hets, Planeter). Anyway, this is a roguelike platformer, and it is planned for release via Steam this summer.
Here's an excerpt from Steam to give you an idea of what it's all about (apart from dying a lot that is):
"GoNNER is a tough as hell procedurally-generated 2D platformer with roguelike elements, following the largely misunderstood and altruistic Ikk on a journey to cheer up his only friend in this world—a giant landbound whale named Sally—by searching for just the right trinket in the deep and dark places nearby."
Better yet, check out the trailer below and you'll see why this game has us excited.
