New Mario Tennis game hitting Wii U this year

Ultra Smash due holiday season.

Nintendo's used its E3 direct conference to announce a new Mario Tennis game.

Ultra Smash seems to continue to the tradition of previous sports tie-ins with standard tennis gameplay with added Mario power-ups, as well as four-player mode.

The game's due out before the end of the year.
