Gears of War 4 out holiday 2016

Gameplay debut at Microsoft's press conference.

The new Gears of War has been debuted by The Coalition's Rod Fergusson at Microsoft's E3 press conference.

The title was showcased by a gameplay demo, as two characters - wielding Lancers - explored deserted ruins at night while tracking down an all-new creature, and then getting hammered by multiple creatures.

The game's due holiday 2016.

The announcement came hot on the heels of the confirmation of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, the remaster of the original game that's entering into beta, well, right now actually.
