Europa Universalis IV gets DLC for International Women's Day

It's International Women's Day on March 8, and to mark the occasion the team over at Paradox Development Studios is offering a free piece of DLC that will add 100 great women to their grand strategy game, Europa Universalis IV.

"It's no surprise that the role of women in history isn't as well known as that of men," PDS studio head Thomas Johansson explained. "Europa Universalis, admittedly, hasn't done a lot to foreground their contributions. We thought that International Women's Day was the best time to do a little bit to help balance the scales and introduce our audience to some very interesting people."

The 100 inspirational figures from across history will be introduced into the game via event triggers ("a weak regency, a colonial empire, certain ideas"). For more details on the Women in History update, head here.
