If you've got a current-gen console and dying repeatedly is the way you like to experience your video games, then rejoice as Dark Souls II is heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 3, 2015.
The base game has been repackaged as Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and it comes with the original title, plus the three-chapter DLC expansion (Crown Of The Sunken King, Crown Of The Old Iron King, and Crown Of The Ivory King) and "an array" of new story-expanding content (featuring new in-game events and NPC characters, plus deadlier enemies and some gameplay tweaks).
Scholar of the First Sin is heading to old-gen consoles and PC as well (and will feature a large-scale update - that will also be made available to those with the original at the time of launch), and while we can expect some tweaks in the old-gen version, it's the current-gen take that'll yield the biggest visual improvement, as you can see from the screens and trailer below.
