Thief movie is in development

Thief may be heading towards the silver screen, according to TB. The site reports that Vertigo and Prime Universe are working on a movie based on Thief, that will be produced by Adrian Askarieh and Roy Lee. Prime Universe is no stranger to game-movie adaptations, being responsible for the (poor) Hitman adaptation. Vertigo on the other hand worked with The Lego Movie.

Thief got a competent reboot a few months back, although it was not without problems. Regardless, we're curious to see how they will adapt the story and Garrett, since he is a thief, not a killer. Let's see if he will remain like that in the movie of if they will be tempted by a more action-packed storyline.
