Capcom has joined Tecmo Koei this morning in confirming Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City won't be stocked at GAME.

Under an hour of Tecmo announcing neither Ninja Gaiden 3 or Warriors Orochi 3 will be on sale in GAME come their release dates, MCV has received a statement from Capcom confirming similar treatment for its newest Resident Evil title, and offering alternative retail outlets to purchase the game.

Update
We contacted Capcom regarding an official statement, and the company has issued us the following:

"Further to the recent announcement concerning Street Fighter x Tekken and Asura's Wrath, Capcom must confirm that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City scheduled for release on Friday March 23, will not be stocked by GAME or Gamestation either in their retail outlets or on their online stores operating in the UK and Ireland.

Capcom wants to reassure its consumers that this title will be available at a wide variety of retailers across the UK and Ireland. For those consumers who have already placed a deposit to pre-order of Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City then a full refund will be available - please contact your local GAME or Gamestation shop or visit the online stores.

Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City is available for pre-order or to purchase on day of release from the following outlets: Blockbusters, HMV, Play.com, Amazon.co.uk, Shopto.net, The Hut and leading independent stockists as well as supermarket chains."
