It's looking increasingly like Ubisoft are set to imminently confirm the release date for their much anticipated new IP, Watch Dogs.
The game, which was originally intended to be a next-gen launch title last November, is still without an official release date. But after a couple of independent sources yesterday pointed towards a June 30 date, it's becoming increasingly likely that we're going to be getting our hands on the game in just a few months.
Making it even more likely that an announcement is imminent is this Tweet from Watch Dogs product manager David Thériault, who simply hashtagged "#bigweek" yesterday.
The June 30 date mentioned by Sony and Amazon has all the hallmarks of a placeholder. While it's unlikely that we'll be getting the game on that specific date, at the very least it suggests an incoming announcement, a notion reinforced by Thériault's post.
