The New York Excelsior Overwatch League team has officially locked in its coaching staff for the 2022 season. Revealed over Twitter, the post shares that certain members will be sticking around for the next year, including general manager Yo-han "nuGget" Kim, assistant coach Young-woo "Undine" Son, and player manager Minseong " Unknown" Kim, but it has also revealed who will be manning the role of head coach.

After previously serving as the Florida Mayhem's head coach over the past couple of seasons, Dae-kuk "KuKi" Kim is joining the Excelsior to lead the team as its head coach.

On top of this, it was also revealed in the post that assistant coach Geonyong "Sqix" Kim has officially left the Excelsior, but there is no mention as to where he will be going next.

The 2022 Overwatch League season is set to return in April this year and will be played on an early build of Overwatch 2, which itself will use a 5v5 format instead of the 6v6 format Overwatch plays with.
