New Xbox avatars available for insiders

Avatars have taken a backseat on Xbox One, but that might be about to change as the all-new Avatars have been launched via the insiders testing program. The new avatars offer a great deal more customisation options including fingernails, makeup and nose rings. Perhaps, more importantly, there are much-expanded options in terms of skin colours and just colours in general. Beta access for the Xbox Avatar Editor began today for "Alpha" and "Alpha - Skip Ahead" insiders. No word on when the feature will launch fully, but if the beta is unproblematic it's likely happening fairly soon.
