Over the past week Twitch celebrated the first edition of Twitchcon in San Francisco, a convention dedicated to the popular video game focussed streaming service, and it's most famous commentators and streamers.
According to data revealed by Twitch, the two-day event was visited by over 20,000 visitors, while at home there were more than 1.9 million users following the live broadcasts.
According to GamesIndustry, Twitch's CEO, Emmett Shear, also announced several new features coming soon, including a new video player for HTML5, an improved PlayStation 4 app, and the ability for players to load videos directly to their channel without having to stream them first.
