PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds continues to expand and update with new features and improvements, and patch update #30 has landed on the test server to introduce the Radio Message, which lets you communicate with teammates in a smoother way.
By holding the mouse wheel or F3 the Radio Message UI appears, as you can see below, letting you select from eight messages to show your teammates, like needing heals. You can also ping as well by clicking the mouse wheel or F3, similar to Apex Legends and Fortnite, and double-clicking alerts to an enemy spotted. What's more is that you can share the name and location of the item when pinging.
On top of that we also have the BRDM-2 vehicle, an amphibious option that lets you take to land or sea, and the health is double that of the UAZ, so it's a bit of a beast. That's why you can only get it as a special care package.
The Deagle is a new pistol as well, dealing more damage than any other. You can put a red-dot and holographic sight on there, as well as a laser sight and various magazines, although you'd better watch out as the recoil is hard to control.
In terms of gameplay tweaks, ledge grab has been added to climb up edges that are up to 2.5 meters high, letting players access new areas. "This is the first iteration of ledge grab, you cannot yet hang on the railings or slide down railings. However, ledge grab will be updated twice in total including this update, the dev team will keep working to enable those features just mentioned from the other update in the future," the team writes.
The gas can has even been tweaked as well, with the explosion dealing damage to all players in a radius if it's exploded, with those closest to it getting hurt more.
The Survival Supply System has also been added before the next Survivor Pass, providing daily and weekly missions between June 27 and July 24. It's totally free, and there are no levels, meaning you can only get rewards once these missions are accomplished.
