After the announcement of two new consoles yesterday, the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro, Sony have announced new peripherals to go with them as well, including a camera, a stand for the new consoles and a new headset.
The redesigned camera has all the features of the current model, such as PSVR support, but has a new compact cylindrical shape. It also includes a stand to allow users easy adjustment of the angle of the camera. These will cost £54 upon release.
The vertical stand does pretty much what you would expect from a stand and it is designed for both the Slim and the Pro. The stand is made with translucent material in an effort to emulate the shadow of the system when placed vertically. This will cost £16 when it is released.
Lastly, the Platinum Wireless Headset is a high-end gaming headset with premium construction and materials designed to give extra comfort to players, as well as 7.1 virtual surround sound using SIE's 3D audio technology, delivering surround sound from all angles including above and below. The headset also includes hidden noise-cancelling microphones as well as being compatible with PSVR and mobile devices using a 3.5mm audio cable, included in the box. This is set to cost £129.
