Good news everyone! Or rather everyone with an Xbox One. Major Nelson has announced that Microsoft has started making the newest patch for the console available for download, meaning that everyone will soon be able to use their own external storage solutions with the console.
The new patch will change the usage of apps so that it is no longer a requirement to be a Xbox Live Gold subscriber to use, and therefore every owner of the console should now be able to use services like Twitch, Netflix and HBO if they have a subscription with either of the services.
Games with Gold will now also include the Xbox One, meaning that Gold-subscribers will soon be able to play Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault for free.
