Question studio has just unveiled its next horror game The Blackout Club and the principle looks rather enticing. Interestingly, the game is focused on teamwork, something that is rare in the genre.
The game revolves around a group of teenagers in a city invaded by dark forces. One of the aims of the developers is to make you feel vulnerable. Via press release Jordan Thomas, whose credits include all three Bioshock games (he served as creative director at 2K Marin on Bioshock 2), had this to say:
"In The Blackout Club, the horror genre comes home. Our story is about vulnerable heroes, for whom co-op gameplay is a matter of survival, who unite to save their friends. We love expressive systems, where you shape the game experience as you see fit, often versus a whole ecosystem of intelligent threats. And now, they're right next door - in a familiar, modern town, where the monster wears a human face. We can't wait for you to meet it."
The Blackout Club is scheduled for release early 2019 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
