The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has given us some fresh new details about Fist of the North Star (courtesy of Gematsu), which is coming for PlayStation 4 from the developers of the Yakuza series, and it seems that Shin and Yuria are returning as characters, and that the game features voice actors previously heard in Yakuza games.

In terms of setting, the game will take us to Eden, the City of Miracles, which has unlimited water and electricity from an old world relic that overlooks the city, and there's even an entertainment district within this city as well.

Other characters in the game included Jagre, (voiced by Kenta Miyake, who plays Yuya in Yakuza games), who imprisons Kenshiro in Eden's dungeon, and Kisana, (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro, who plays the blind woman in Yakuza 0), who is the daughter of Eden's founder. On top of this there's also The Evil King, with no voice actor attached, who has an army of bandits that attack the city.

According to Gematsu, General Producer Daisuke Sato said: "I wanted to make a Fist of the North Star unique to Yakuza Studio. When considering what would make the best use of that collaborative feeling, I thought it would be good for the Yakuza voice actors to play the Fist of the North Star characters. Takuya Kuroda's voice is very suited to Kenshiro."

Fist of the North Star should be coming to Japan next year. Do these details intrigue you?
