Netherrealm working on removing 30 FPS cap for MK11 on PC

The community has spoken about the cap, and Netherrealm assures fans they're being heard during the May patch notes for PC.

Mortal Kombat 11 just received a May patch for PC this past weekend, and while there was plenty to see in the patch notes - including plenty of fixes - Netherrealm also alerted fans to some feedback they've been hearing regarding frame-rates on PC.

"On the topic of having certain parts of the game run with a frame-rate cap of 30 FPS, we hear you. We're currently working on providing the option to increase the caps in those areas to 60 FPS. We'll have more details soon, stay tuned," the post reads.

We also find out that Nvidia Highlights and Ansel - programs that capture key moments and photos in the game - are now compatible for those with Nvidia GPUs, so it seems like the PC crowd is a big priority with this game, something that hasn't gone unnoticed by the community.

In other Mortal Kombat news a competition is happening with various online and offline tournaments throughout this year and 2020, so it seems Mortal Kombat 11 has had a good start in life.

Do you worry about frame-rates on PC?

REVIEW. Written by Ricardo C. Esteves

"Mortal Kombat 11 could have been superb, but some of the design decisions Netherrealm has made are regrettable."
