Netflix gives us character videos for The Witcher

The Witcher's Netflix series is mere days away from its start date of December 20, and fans are understandably hyped for the arrival of the series, especially since it's already been renewed for another season.

We already have the episode names ahead of release, and now we have three new videos diving into some of the central characters in the plot, so we can get a taste of what's coming later this month.

One of these is of course The Witcher himself, Geralt of Rivia, and actor Henry Cavill talks about the warrior and what he's like, including a personality that isn't all that "cheery".

Then we have Freya Allan's Princess Cirilla, a girl with a sheltered life who is both stubborn and naive, at least according to Allan herself.

Lastly we have Anya Chalotra talking about Yennefer of Vengerberg, which is perhaps one of the most recognisable characters from the game (although it's worth reminding you this series isn't based on any of the games).

These all give good insights into the characters, and bear in mind that this series leans more towards horror than fantasy, so it should be a dark affair when it finally hits our screens.
