NBA Playgrounds 2 jumps onto the court with a trailer

The new entry in development for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

Saber Interactive has officially announced the rumoured NBA Playgrounds 2, which will feature two new game modes, a new worldwide ranked league system with multiple division ladders, dedicated servers, improved matchmaking, and much more.

Season is a career mode you'll be able to play in this game, featuring every match from the regular season all the way to the finals, but if you're into multiplayer you can always get up to four players for online matches. We're also promised new moves, power-ups, improved AI, new models, and better animations.

The second entry keeps the official NBA license with every official team and more than 200 current and retired stars, including Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan, Damian Lillard, Karl-Anthony Towns, Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Dr. J., Allen Iverson, and Larry Bird.
