NBA 2K16 ships four million units worldwide

Big numbers for Take-Two's basketball game.

NBA 2K16, developed by Visual Concepts and published by Take-Two Interactive, is doing pretty well by all accounts. The companies announced today that NBA 2K16 has now shipped (aka sold to retail) over four million units worldwide, making it the fastest seller in the franchise's history.

Definitely not bad considering that the game was only released one week ago in the US and in Europe this Tuesday. It still has a distance to go compared to NBA 2K15, a game that overall sold eleven million copies so far.

NBA 2K16 is available on both last and current generation consoles as well as on PC. Our review is coming soon.
