Naughty Dog is known for having great animations in their games, as seen in the Uncharted series and The Last of Us. Of course, this is not down to anything but hard work, and in the name of authentic acting Naughty Dog has now brought a live pig to do some motion capture work.
Creative director and writer Neil Druckmann shared an adorable picture on Twitter saying that "today's mocap session is off to a great start". It sure would have been interesting to be on site to see a pig do motion capture work.
Writer and actor Halley Gross shared a short video on Twitter showing herself and the new star of the studio doing some social bonding.
The motion capture work is most likely done for The Last of Us: Part II, so expect to see good animations on those pigs, when the game launches on PS4 some time in the future. As for the pig? We hear Ubisoft Montpellier may have some extra work coming his or her way...
Thanks, Gamespot.
