My Friend Pedro is a rather unique game that fits Devolver Digital's style of games that are rather quirky and outside the box, and during E3 we talked to creator Victor Ågren about what the game is, who gave us perhaps the most interesting elevator pitch we could have hoped for.
"I usually like to describe it as a violent ballet about friendship, imagination, and one man's struggle to obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana," Ågren succinctly explained.
"It's a very heavy focus on acrobatic action and jumping through the air in slow motion and generally being a badass," he added. "So the biggest influences are Max Payne and the Matrix films and Equilibrium, I think those were the main stuff. And then there were some other flash games as well."
