Nerd Monkeys (Murder), the Portuguese studio founded by Filipe Pina (the man behind PSN hit Under Siege), is working on a new adventure game, this time for PC, Mac and Linux. Murder in the Hotel Lisbon is inspired by the classic adventure games from the 90s, and as you can see from the screens below it features a distinctive pixel art visual style.
Filipe Pina told Gamereactor.pt that: "Detective Case and Clown Bot in Murder In The Hotel Lisbon is the first title i'm working on here at Nerd Monkeys. It's a peculiar videogame, in the sense that although it will be sold internationally and in English, it's probably the most Portuguese game that ever existed. It's full of visual references to Portugal and to the Portuguese people."
The game will be available to pre-order from September 11 (head here), and those who pay early will get the game at a discount, although the price and discounts have not yet been revealed. Murder in the Hotel Lisbon will be released by the end of the year on PC, Mac and Linux.
