MudRunner fans have another game to look forward to, as Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have unveiled SnowRunner at Gamescom this year, having been previously teased as MudRunner 2.

The reveal trailer shows what you can expect from this game, promised to be the "ultimate off-road experience", and there are no prizes for guessing that this includes snow this time around. All of the vehicles can be customised before taking them out into the wild, and there are 15 new sandbox maps to drive around, some of which are up to four times larger than those in the original game.

Snowdrifts, ice, rivers, and of course mud are hazards to contend with, and you can do this either alone or with four players in co-operative multiplayer, all of which we can expect on PC, PS4, and Xbox One next year. Those at Gamescom, however, can try it at the Focus Home Interactive booth located in Hall 3.2 at booth A010.

SnowRunner

REVIEW. Written by Roy Woodhouse

"Snow was well and truly what the doctor ordered and this is a hugely entertaining outing that lets you get to grips with some truly adverse terrain."
